After graduating from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dr. Mason Miner completed a two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. During this advanced training, he focused on the surgical placement and restoration of dental implants.
Over time in clinical practice, Dr. Miner recognized that dental implants are not always as predictable or long-lasting as commonly believed. This led him to pursue advanced education and specialized training focused on preserving natural teeth whenever possible.
Dr. Miner discovered Root Camp, an intensive educational program dedicated to advanced endodontic techniques. He completed the Root Camp Mini-Residency, where he developed the skills and knowledge to save teeth in ways that help patients avoid extractions and, in many cases, the need for dental implants. Today, he is highly skilled in advanced procedures focused on tooth preservation.
He is also actively involved in continuing education and advanced training in modern dentistry, including membership and certifications such as MWCLI and FAAFE, reflecting his commitment to laser dentistry and facial aesthetics.
Outside of the office, Dr. Miner enjoys spending time with his family. His wife, Karina, works at Mercy Hospital, and together they have four daughters. In his free time, he enjoys working on his HO model railroad, mountain biking, skiing, and being outdoors. He has also participated in several community orchestras, where he plays the viola.
